Difference between Perspective, Isometric, Oblique and Orthographic Drawing.

Perspective drawing:

Perspective drawing is a drawing technique used to portray objects in 3 dimensions or 3D. The perspective drawing method is commonly used for drawing buildings and other such structures in 3 dimensions so that it shows greater detail.

Isometric Drawing:

Isometric drawing

Isometric drawings are 3D
drawings. They show three sides, all in dimensional proportion, but none are shown as a true shape with 90 degree corners. All the vertical lines are drawn vertically but all horizontal lines are drawn at 30 degrees to the base line. Isometric is an easy method of drawing 3D images.

Oblique Drawing:

Oblique drawings are designed to show a three dimensional view of an object. It is a kind of a drawing that shows one face of the object in true shape, but the other faces on a distorted angle. Oblique is not really a '3D'
system but a 2 dimensional view of an object with 'forced depth'.

Orthographic Drawing:

Orthographic drawing is a way of communicating information about physical objects. An orthographic view is only one side.

Definition of theme - Environment

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/environment : the air, water, minerals, organisms, and all other external factors surrounding and affecting a given organism at any time.
external - temperature, food etc.

http://onelook.com/?w=environment&ls=a : the area in which something exists or lives
exists - alive, living things; able to live.
e.g. plants, animals etc

http://www.thefreedictionary.com/environment : the external surroundings in which a plant or animal lives, which tend to influence its development and behaviour
development and behaviour- what the plant or animal would grow into and what they would behave like when growing or when matured.
eg. animals : develop a keen sense of hearing. always going solo in hunting. the animal probably lives in an area where many predators thrive. it would then need to develop a keen sense of hearing to watch out for its predators. food is probably scarce and thus, it prefers to go hunting alone - more food.

after reading the definitions from different sources,
MY DEFINITION/CONCLUSION/SUMMARY :environment - A place in which a living thing lives, with different factors in the surroundings affecting it.

ADMT Lesson 1: Personal Reflection

1. What does ADMT means to you?
ADMT to me means designing using technology. After we have finished our artwork, we will share it using email, television etc.

2. What are the attitude that an ADMT student should have?

The student should be:
-positive
-creative
-do his/her best

3. What are you aspiration as an ADMT student?
To design something (poster etc) using technology that is related to helping out mankind (saving the Earth, our environment etc)

4. How do you think you can achieve your aspiration?

By paying attention in class, as we are doing a theme on "Environment". Surfing the Internet to find out more of what we can do to help mankind [and Earth] (how we can do our part to save the Earth etc)

5. Sketch how the world would look like without art, design, media and technology. Describe briefly your sketch.

the picture suggests that without art, design, media and technology, the world would look dull and boring.
